This will add to what the town has to offer as a tourist destination and is fantastic news for Bournemouth and in particular Boscombe, an area which has been sliding into decline in recent years. This ties in with Bournemouth Council's aim to develop run down areas of the Borough, and is tribute to their vision and hard work in making the development happen. The rebirth, regeneration, and rebranding of Boscombe is already under way: its now Boscombe Spa Village, with expensive flats, the Overstrand development planned with surfing academy, retail outlets and restaurant with panoramic sea-views.
